Alpinism

With their two-thousand-metre peaks, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps provide numerous climbing opportunities at various levels of difficulty during the summer as well as during the winter. The starting points for the steep walls are located in the Logar Valley and in the neighbouring Matkov kot and Robanov kot. There are great climbing areas on the walls of Ojstrica, Planjava, Raduha and Mrzla gora. There are also smaller walls on Raduha and Solčavske peči (Klemenča, Golerjeva, Strevčeva), which drop down into the bed of the Savinja from Podolševa. The routes are of varying difficulty levels and are described in climbing guides.
