Park in designated parking areas.

Less traffic means more space for nature and a more pleasant experience for all visitors. The landscape park has several small gravel parking areas right along the main road.
 

Use public and other organized transport.

Check where the parking areas are and have a look at the timetables. Using public transport reduces traffic congestion and improves the visitor experience.
 

Explore the destination by bike.

Cycling helps keep you fit while also helping to preserve the unspoiled nature. By choosing a bike during your stay, you become a guardian of our area and help us maintain its peace and quiet. Cyclists ride on the roads, so please be careful.
 

Stay on marked trails.

A nature and ethnographic trail runs through the Logar valley, revealing plenty of information about its natural and cultural heritage. The trail is well marked — you're welcome to take a walk. By staying on marked trails, we protect sensitive habitats and make exploring the valley safe
 

Take your waste with you.

Whatever we bring into the valley, we take back out. There are no waste bins in the valley.
 

Keep dogs on a leash.

Even a friendly dog can disturb wildlife or livestock, so it's important to keep them leashed. Look after your pets and clean up after them.
 

Let flowers grow where they bloom.

Many plants in Logar Valley are protected or rare. The best keepsake of a flower is a photograph, not a bouquet.
 

Drones are not allowed.

Drones disturb wildlife, local residents, and other visitors who come to the valley for its peace and quiet. Let peace and quiet remain the privilege of visitors and residents alike.

The use of drones is prohibited. Drones can disturb wildlife as well as local residents and other visitors.

Can I pick flowers?

No. Many plants in Logar Valley are protected or rare. Admire them, photograph them, but leave them in nature.

The flowering meadows look inviting — can I walk through them?

No, walking on the meadows is prohibited. These are organic meadows. Farmers look after them so they can mow the grass and preserve the mountain flowers. You can admire them from a distance.

Can I camp in the Logar Valley?

Camping and overnight stays in nature are not allowed in the Logar valley. You can spend the night in official accommodations and mountain huts.

Where can I park my campervan and stay overnight?

The Logar Valley – Solčavsko destination has only ONE campervan stop where overnight stays are allowed: the Ambrož-Gregorc Farm. Other campsites are available outside our municipality, such as Camp Šmica in Luče, campsites in Ljubno, and Camp Menina in Rečica ob Savinji.

 

Can I let my dog off the leash?

Dogs must be supervised and kept on a leash. This protects wildlife, grazing animals, and other visitors.

Can I feed or pet the cows and horses?

No. Cows, especially those with calves, can react protectively. Observe the animals from a safe distance.

Where can I park?

Park in designated parking areas — not on meadows, along roads, or on other unmarked surfaces.

Can I leave the marked trail?

We recommend staying on marked trails. This protects the fragile natural environment and reduces the risk of injury or losing your way.

What should I do with my waste?

The mountain waterfalls, streams, and rivers are protected. Natural water habitats are fragile, and we want to preserve them.
