The Logar Valley Trail is intended to bring people closer to nature. You can explore the trails and discover the most peaceful parts of the park on your own, or take a tour with a local guide who will lead you into the beautiful world of nature and reveal many interesting things, including the second source of the Savinja river, mighty rock boulders, a foresters’ and charcoal makers’ cottage, a hunters’ lookout, and a giant juniper bush. The highlight of the trail is the Rinka waterfall, which is one of the highest waterfalls in Slovenia, where you are rewarded by the cool, refreshing air and water.
Allow around two hours for the entire trail (one way). You can also join the trail at various places along the valley. The central part runs past the Fairytale Forest. A short section of the trail at the Dom planincev mountain hut is wheelchair accessible.
