Frischaufov dom na Okrešlju mountain hut

The original building was swept away by an avalanche, and the more recent one unfortunately burnt down. A new hut is currently under construction. A small wooden building serving drinks only has been set up as a temporary measure near the former building.

A marked path leads to the hut from the parking area near the Rinka waterfall. It takes around one hour to reach the hut on foot on the easy trail. Visitors to Okrešelj do not have to climb to the peaks, they can walk for hours on the cirque itself, one of the most beautiful of its kind in the Slovenian Alps. Marked and well-secured mountain trails lead to all the surrounding peaks.
