Logarska Dolina Walking Trail – Step into the Heart of Logar Valley Landscape Park

A walk through Logarska Dolina brings you closer to the mountains, both physically and symbolically. The century-old Logar Linden Tree, forests, traditional farmsteads, huts, and alpine dairy farms bear witness to the fact that local people have always lived in harmony with nature.

A well-maintained trail follows the stream to the source of Črna and continues past impressive boulders. Signposts lead visitors to viewpoints, offering spectacular views of the valley and mountain peaks while revealing the stories of the landscape and its people. Along the way, visitors can enjoy close encounters with the rich and diverse world of plants and wildlife.

The Logarska Dolina Walking Trail is an easy nature and heritage trail. Beginning at the Logar Farm in the lower part of the valley, it leads visitors through forests, past traditional farmsteads, across meadows, streams, and torrential riverbeds, before reaching the magnificent Rinka Waterfall.

In 2021, the Logarska Dolina Walking Trail was named Slovenia’s Best Thematic Trail.
