The Logar valley is one of the most beautiful alpine glacial valleys in Europe and flows into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps from the north. As part of Solčava, tradition and nature coexist here.
Coming from the direction of Ljubljana, Celje and Maribor (as well as Croatia and Italy) follow the A1 motorway (E57) and take the Logar valley exit then take road 225 past Mozirje and continue straight on road 428 in the direction of the Logar valley.
Coming from the direction of Ljubljana (Kranj), an alternative option is to take road 104 past Kamnik then road 225 in the direction of Gornji Grad. On reaching Črnivec, turn left onto road 924 through Podvolovljek to Luče and continue left along road 225 to the Logar valley.
Coming from the direction of Kranj, take road 210 to Jezersko and after crossing the Austrian border turn right on road 428 past the Pavlič pass to the Logar valley.
Coming from the direction of Klagenfurt (Austria) take roads B70, B85 and B82 past Bad Eisenkappel /Železna Kapla, then turn left at Bad Vellach onto road 428 past the Pavlič pass to the Logar valley.
